I live in Grand Ledge, Michigan with my wife Liz and our Goldendoodle Beaker. In addition to research and teaching, I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, music, and tinkering under the hood of my car. I'm originally from the west coast, but I enjoy living in Michigan. Over the past few years, we've managed to explore much of the state, including most of its lakeshore highways.
